NUM to sign a wage agreement with Sibanye-Stillwater

The National Union of Mineworkers (NUM) is set to sign a wage agreement on Friday the 8th November 2024 on behalf of its members at the Sibanye-Stillwater gold operations.

These followed a fresh mandate received from members during the trade unions labour joint mass meetings conducted on Tuesday where members overwhelmingly accepted the Sibanye-Stillwater’s latest wage offer of R900 for workers in categories 4-8 and 5.5 % for miners, artisans and officials. The signing ceremony will take place at Birchwood Hotel and Conference Centre in Boksburg.
