Petrol down, diesel up from Wednesday

eNCA writes that some relief for motorists this week as the petrol price is being cut from Wednesday. The Energy Department has announced that 93 unleaded will cost 24 cents a litre less. Motorists will spend 17 cents less per litre of 95 unleaded. Diesel users are not as lucky. They are set to pay up to 18 cents more for a litre.

Paraffin will be 4 cents cheaper per litre. The main driver of the lower petrol prices is an ease in the oil price. The retail price for gas will decrease by R2 and 96 cents per kilogram.
